The Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC), the Ekiti State Chapter has commiserated with the former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief (Dr) Ayo Fayose over the death of his immediate elder sister, Mrs Moji Ladeji.

In a statement personally signed by the Ekiti IPAC State Chairman, Ifedayo Iyaniwura and made available to the CONCORDNEWS in Ado Ekiti on Monday after breaking the news of the death of the Departed soul to the public, Mr. Ifedayo Iyaniwura prayed to God to console the former Governor, Ayo Fayose and his family for the lose, and may the Soul of the deceased rest in perfect peace, and the perpetual light of the Lord shine upon her."


According to the IPAC Chairman, Ifedayo Iyaniwura, "I can feel the pain our dear Ayo Fayose will be going through at the moment, this is someone who loves his Family passionately, same way he loves Ekiti people, may God in his infinite mercy grant him the strength to bare the lose."

Court sacks Inter-party Council’s National Chairman, Peter Ameh   By Eric Ikhilae, Abuja A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Apo has declared as illegal the continued occupation of the office of the Chairman of the Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC) by Chief Peter Ameh. In a judgment on Monday, Justice Binta Mohammed held that Ameh could no longer remain in office as IPAC Chairman, because his political party, Peoples Progressive Alliance (PPA) was one of the 74 parties recently de-registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The judgement was in a suit by National Unity Party (NUP) with which it challenged the decision by the 18 political parties (that were left as member of IPAC after the de-registration of the 74 parties) to appoint an interim Chairman.
