National Rescue Movement (NRM) already positioned to take over the Leadership of Ekiti State by 2022.

The Ekiti State Chairman of National Rescue Movement (NRM) in acting capacity who doubles has the IPAC Chairman in Ekiti State, Ifedayo Iyaniwura has urged Ekiti people and Nigerians at large that his party would perform better if given the votes in future elections. He specifically appealed to Ekiti people to vote for the candidate of the party, alleging that both of All Progressives Congress (APC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have failed the state.

Iyaniwura who urged the people of Ekiti State to start visiting their wards to get registered in preparation for the governorship poll in 2022 boasted that a governor from his party, NRM will perform far better than the present Government of APC in the State. 



In a Statement personally signed and made available to the Concordnews in Ado Ekiti the State capital assured Ekiti people of a new dawn with presence of National Rescue Movement in the State, according to him, "as Ekiti people, we have known where the shoe pinches, it is therefore imperative to choose which Party governs the State come 2022 wisely for better development of our people and Ekiti State at large."
